This policy describes the ways we collect, store, use and protect your personal information. You accepted this policy when you signed up for our Service. Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. It represents our good-faith efforts to ensure your privacy and provide you with a great service.

The Information We Collect

Your email content, metadata, and the authorization credentials used to retrieve this information are accessed only with your permission and stored on your device. This information is permanently deleted when the Trimbox application is removed. Our computer systems never collect, handle or store this information for any reason.

The Way We Use Information

We use your email address to communicate with you, to share updates and promotions for Trimbox services, and to authenticate with 3rd party products integrated with our system (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook). We will never sell or rent your email address or ANY personally identifiable or even aggregated information to another company.

Trimbox collects some of your email data through the Gmail API, including the content and metadata of email messages. This data is used only to allow you to process (delete/move/archive/unsubscribe from) emails using the Trimbox application.

Trimbox may also collect some of your email data by directly interfacing with the Gmail web application, when using the Trimbox Chrome Extension. This information is only collected whenever you enable and utilize the Trimbox auto-draft reply feature. This data is shared with OpenAI for the sole purpose of generating email reply predictions, and will not be used to train future models and is automatically deleted after 30 days.

We may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and web extension.

All personally identifiable information gathered can be disclosed to judicial or other government agencies subject to warrants, subpoenas or other governmental orders. But absent a legal compulsion, we will not divulge your information.

Finally, we do not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

Additional Limits on Use of Your Google Data

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, if you provide Trimbox access to your Google data, Trimbox’s use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:

  • If you give Trimbox permissions to access your Gmail data through the Gmail API, Trimbox will use these permissions to read or control Gmail message metadata (including information about attachments), headers and message content to allows users to process (delete/move/archive/unsubscribe from) emails and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law.
  • If you enable and utilize the Trimbox auto-draft AI feature, Trimbox will collect relevant email information directly from your Gmail page, including Gmail message metadata (including information about attachments), headers and message content to generate relevant reply predictions. This data will be shared with OpenAI for the sole purpose of generating predictions.
  • When the user enables and utilizes the Trimbox auto-draft reply feature, Trimbox will share relevant email content with OpenAI. This data will not be used to train future models and is automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Trimbox will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.
  • Trimbox will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or to comply with applicable law.
  • Trimbox’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

CCPA Privacy Policy (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

Request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.

Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.

Request that a business that sells a consumer's personal data, not sell the consumer's personal data.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Trimbox does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
